Casey's Clubhouse Is Now Open For Lunch Every Day 🍔
Casey's Clubhouse is now open for lunch seven days a week. The restaurant inside Burloak Indoor Golf is rated 5.0 on Google, and you don't need to be golfing to eat there.
The new fall and winter menu has favourites like a braised beef hoagie, a double smash burger and fish and chips, plus lighter options like salads and rice bowls. There's a special every day, including 2-for-1 wings on Wednesdays.
Stay for a game after lunch. Darts and shuffleboard are free to play with your visit, and the fireplace seating and big-screen TVs make Casey's an easy place to catch the game.

Sephora To Open Second Oakville Location Later This Month 💄

It will soon be easier than ever for Oakville’s most aesthetically-inclined residents to keep up with beauty trends, practice self-care, or commit to a skincare routine, because on November 13th a new Sephora is set to open in the Burloak RioCan Centre at 3527 Wyecroft Road.
This opening will mark the brand’s 150th Canadian location, and its second here in Oakville. The Oakville Place Sephora first opened in 2016 and has been perennially popular ever since.
Known for their extensive selection of beauty, hair, skin, and fragrance products, these stores are wonderlands for Beauty Insiders (how the brand refers to their loyal customers) and now, just in time for gifting season, Oakville will have wonder times two!
How Oakville Is Marking Remembrance Day 2026 🕊️
“Lest We Forget” is not a trite or hollow phrase here in Oakville, where residents will have multiple opportunities throughout Veterans’ Week (November 5th-November 11th) to honour the bravery and sacrifice of those who served.
At 10:30am on Sunday, November 8th, the Bronte Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion will host a walk to the Chris Vokes Memorial Park Cenotaph, where a ceremony will take place. On Remembrance Day itself (Wednesday, November 11th) the Oakville Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion will hold their traditional parade to George’s Square starting at 10:30am, with a ceremony to follow, and Memorial Park will also be a ceremonial site on November 11th, starting at 10:40am.
In addition to providing these moments of solemnity, the Town is also collaborating with the Royal Canadian Legion to introduce the Veterans’ Commemorative Banner Program, which will add to Oakville’s three cenotaph memorials. “We will remember them” this week and always.
First Look At The Holiday Season In Oakville 🎄
Starting the holiday celebrations in November might be controversial for some December purists, but the truth is there’s simply too much happening for it all to be contained to one month, especially in Oakville! To get you organized, Visit Oakville has rounded up the first batch of events happening this month to kick off the holiday season.
From traditional mainstay events like the Oakville Santa Claus Parade and Light Up The Night to the tree lightings of Bronte and Kerr Village, as well as all of the festive markets happening all across town in between, there’s no shortage of ways and places to get into the festive spirit.
We’ll be taking a closer look at some of these events throughout the month here in the Digest, but for now mark your calendars accordingly and, if it’s not too early for your tastes, cue the Michael Bublé!

Olivette Is Kerr Village’s New Mediterranean-Style Bakery 🥐

The Oakville Digest
At last Sunday’s grand opening of Olivette Bakery, Mayor-Elect Jeff Knoll remarked on the importance of “third spaces”—those places beyond work and home where neighbours can meet and communities can thrive. Immediately upon entering the new bakery (located at 171 Speers Road) it’s clear that Olivette has been thoughtfully designed to be exactly such a space for Kerr Village.
Spacious and airy with wood accents and plenty of café tables and chairs, the bakery is the ideal spot to catch up with a friend over one of their Pinterest-perfect pastries. In the long display case you’ll find sweet croissants and savoury croissants and even croissant sandwiches, along with other flaky goods flavoured with Mediterranean seasonings like za’atar. Heartier fare like flatbreads, dips, and shakshuka are available too.
Olivette Bakery is a warm and welcome addition to the neighbourhood, and might soon be everyone’s first choice of third space!
Pizza Fiamma Opens First Oakville Location 🍕

The Oakville Digest
Though it’s only been open for slightly more than a week, Oakville’s first Pizza Fiamma (at 3005 Pine Glen Road) already seems like a neighbourhood staple, serving up reliably delicious slices and pies from their little corner of Palermo. The Canadian franchise takes pride in their freshly made dough, slow-cooked sauce, and wood-fired baking, and the result is a true pizza lover’s pizza.
The first Pizza Fiamma was founded out of a small Brampton neighbourhood kitchen back in 2010 and the brand has since grown to include multiple locations around the GTA, as well as outposts as far as Winnipeg and Halifax. In addition to making all the usual suspects (pepperoni, deluxe, Hawaiian) they also offer new specialties like their butter chicken or shahi paneer pizzas. With these fresh takes on tradition, it’s only a matter of time before the new spot becomes an old favourite here in Oakville!
