Together With Zenbar!

Oakville’s Premier Luxury Spa & Medical Skincare Clinic

As the school year begins and schedules start to settle back into place, it’s the perfect time to get back into a wellness routine that’s all about you.

Our busiest time of year is just around the corner, so now is the time to pre-book your massage appointments. Whether you come in to manage tension, support recovery, or simply make time for yourself, booking ahead helps ensure you get the appointments that work best with your schedule.

Have massage therapy benefits remaining? Don’t let them go to waste! Many benefits reset at the end of the year, so fall is the perfect time to check your coverage and use your remaining benefits before they expire.

And don’t forget your skin! As we transition into cooler weather, regular facials can help maintain hydration, improve texture and tone, and keep your skin healthy and glowing through the dry winter months.

Make wellness part of your routine this fall. Your future self will thank you.

Road Closure For Kerrfest 🎪

Kerr Village comes alive every September with their annual Kerrfest, but drivers will temporarily need to navigate around one closed road in order to facilitate the festivities.

Part of Bond Street will be closed between September 9th and 13th. A detour route via Kerr Street, Rebecca Street, Wilson Street, and the open section of Bond Street will be available.

The closure accommodates an event that bills itself as “Oakville’s ultimate outdoor music festival”, which will take over Westwood Park on September 11th and 12th.

Oakville NHLer Traded To New Jersey 🏒

In a surprise late-night trade last week, Oakville’s Luke Evangelista was traded from the Nashville Predators to the New Jersey Devils, in exchange for a future first and second-round pick.

The move caught Evangelista by surprise. He told the press he “didn’t see it coming” and was expecting to be back in Nashville this fall, but joining a Devils team led by stars like Jack Hughes and Nico Hischier could potentially be a better fit for his playmaking style.

After tallying 56 points in Nashville last season, Evangelista now has a 60- or 70- point season in his sights, and he’s certainly arriving in New Jersey with something to prove.

Viral Frozen Yogurt Found In Oakville 🍨

Farma Greek Market

For the past few months, a viral frozen yogurt has been drawing long lines around neighbourhoods in Paris, New York, and several other far-flung cities, but treat-seekers don’t need to book a flight to participate in the trend.

Oakville’s very own Farma Greek Market has been serving up swirls of frozen Greek yogurt at their Lakeshore location. Their creamy concoctions can be topped with unique and authentically Greek toppings like thyme honey, sour cherry, fig jam, and baklava.

The local spot has recently gotten attention from several Toronto-based foodie social media accounts, so it may soon draw lines of its own, but for now it’s still one of Oakville’s most delicious secrets.

Christmas Market Looking For Vendors 🎄

Film.ca Cinemas is bringing back their Annual Christmas Market, and they’re currently looking for artisans, creators, and small businesses to come be a part of the festive magic.

Oakville’s favourite “friendly neighbourhood cinema” will host their market inside the theatre complex at 171 Speers on November 14th. They’re hoping for a diverse mix of vendors offering a variety of homemade holiday gifts and goodies.

Anyone wishing to take part can submit a vendor application online or via email.
