Together With Zenbar!

Oakville’s Premier Luxury Spa & Medical Skincare Clinic

Your skin works in layers, so that's how we treat it.

Some treatments smooth and refresh the surface. Others reach deeper, into the layers where firmness and hydration get built.

Working across all of them is what impacts the things you notice in the mirror: tone evens out, texture smooths, skin firms up, and the brightness comes back.

Our job is to create a plan specially tailored to your skin and goals.

Our treatments include Clarity II laser toning, Bloomea skin resurfacing, LPG Endermologie, HydraFacial, chemical peels or exosome therapy, and more.

We thoughtfully combine these treatments when crafting your plan so you achieve better and longer lasting results.

You keep the treatment going at home with medical-grade skincare we pick for you: ZO Skin Health, SkinCeuticals and EltaMD. These clinically proven products enhance the results you get from your sessions, and build more resilient skin day to day.

We create your plan for you, for free.

Latino Festival Begins Today 💃

The Oakville Latino Festival kicks off today at Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park and runs through Sunday, from 10am to 10pm each day with free entry. This is the festival's fifth summer in Oakville.

Expect food vendors serving dishes from across Latin America, live music and dance performances throughout the day, and booths from local artisans and small businesses. There's a kids' zone for the little ones, and drop-in zumba if you'd rather join the dancing than watch it.

The festival is put on by We Does Heritage Association, an Ontario non-profit whose stated goal is "creating the perfect environment to share our roots, traditions, and Latino heritage."

Today's forecast is sunny and 26, so the waterfront should be busy. Come hungry.

Shop Handmade in Bronte 🛍️

The 3rd annual Bronte Harbourfront Market is on this Saturday at Walton Memorial United Church on Lakeshore Road West, with more than 28 local artisans selling handmade goods from 10:30am to 2:30pm. Admission and parking are both free.

The vendor list covers a lot of tables: candles, jewellery, hand-knit blankets, soap, brownies, and crochet plushies all make an appearance. Everything is made by the person standing behind the table, so come with questions.

Hosted by Artisan Community Market Hub, the market sends the first 20 visitors home with free swag bags, and kids get treat bags of their own (plus, the organizers promise, a surprise).

If your Saturday plan is the Latino Festival right next door, this makes an easy stop on the way.

Sheridan Grads Emmy Nominated 🏆

Five Sheridan College graduates have been nominated for Primetime Emmy Awards this year, three of them first-time nominees.

Craig Henighan and Peter Persaud both earned nominations for their sound work on the Stranger Things series finale. Tyler Whitham picked up his fourth nod as Co-Supervising Sound Editor of Murderbot. Darryl Sawchuk and Ben King were recognized for visual effects on HBO's IT: Welcome to Derry.

Henighan has now been nominated for ten consecutive years and already has five Emmy wins for Stranger Things, plus an Oscar nomination for Roma. Persaud is a three-time Canadian Screen Award winner whose credits include Deadpool & Wolverine and A Quiet Place.

Nanubhai Scores at Home 🥅

Oakville's Arjun Nanubhai turned heads at Hockey Canada's U17 development camp over this past weekend, scoring two goals in front of his hometown crowd at Sunday's intrasquad scrimmage.

The young forward helped Team Black shut out Team White 5-0, opening the scoring early and adding a fourth goal later in the game. Eighty of Canada's top young hockey players were in town this past week, competing for spots on the national roster ahead of November's U17 World Challenge.

Nanubhai was recently picked by the Brampton Steelheads in the second round of the OHL Draft and said having family in the stands made the moment even more special.
